A good trivia night is social pacing more than a knowledge exam: rules the room understands from the first question, topics people actually recognize, and one screen the back row can read. Jawabaksa7 (جوابك صح) keeps topic picks, team names, the timer, and the scoreboard in a single browser window—on a living-room TV or a Zoom share. This article is for the host who wants a 60 to 90 minute night without arguing over who added the points.
The usual failure is opening the site in front of guests with no rehearsal. The timer depends on a foreground tab, and audio comes from the machine plugged into the display, not from a phone in the host’s pocket. Take ten minutes before the door: account ready, HDMI tested, two practice questions so four options are readable from the sofa.
The platform supports two to four teams. Eight guests usually need two teams. Fifteen people often need three so a corner does not become a lecture. Four teams fit a large room or an office, but they need a host who repeats the stem once because noise swallows the second half of the sentence. Do not seat one person against three; balance beats a “star team.”
Team names are part of the mood. A funny name loosens the room faster than a department title or a formal family name. Type the names the way guests say them so nobody later disputes who won.
Create an account from sign up and run a short private round. Read how to play so you are not learning the UI in public. Prepare a main display: TV, projector, or screen share. You do not install an app, but you do need a stable connection and a tab that stays in front.
Choose four to six topics. Six fits a full night. Four fits a family or guests who arrive after dinner. A mix that works in most homes: general knowledge, a series or film everyone has seen, light sport, and one challenge pack so competitive players are not bored. Details are in how to pick topics.
Do not lock six packs nobody in the room knows because you like them. Ask “who watched this?” before you confirm a card. Families should read family quiz with kids; offices should read office team-building.
Open with two sentences, not a five-minute speech: questions are timed, scores appear on screen, and one person taps the device. Assign a reader who states the stem aloud and stops table talk during the countdown if that is your rule. Show the scoreboard after every question before you continue—that pause builds suspense more than rushing the next tap.
Explain each question type when it appears, not all at once. True/false is fast; ordering needs talk time. See question types explained. If ads appear after someone accepts advertising cookies on the privacy bar, they sit beside an open question, not on the topic picker—do not close the tab.
Alternate an easier pack with a harder one so a team is not lost by question three. Take a water or tea break every eight to ten questions. After iftar in Ramadan, shorten the session; see seasonal nights. On a video call, wait half a second after you finish reading before you start the timer because of lag—remote trivia.
Say once whether search is banned, allowed for a final “research” round, or allowed because the night is educational. Changing the rule mid-game embarrasses people who complied. A tie can stay a tie. Details: fair play and scoring.
Announce the order without a speech, thank the teams, and save the session name if you want a second round later while it stays active. For technical issues see the FAQ then contact us. Teachers should read classroom quiz tips. The fifteen-minute door checklist is in the first-host checklist.
